Being in a prime Lower Lonsdale location, it was however renovated from top to bottom, stratified, and is now on the open market being sold new condos. Encore units feature new kitchens, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, crown molding, trim and baseboard. It is like a fully renovated condo in a well maintained building with new infrastructure: a new building with built in charm, and sustainable construction practices. Being a bit of a perfectionist I would have preferred to not see unfinished rooms during viewing however I am confident the last few reaming modifications will be ready in the up coming weeks. The materials used are mid range, however good choices were made among the colour schemes and products used. Over all I think these condos are good value, I wish the land was a little further east but they are priced to reflect this location. Overall its location is close to all of Lower Lonsdale’s waterfront amenities. Aside from the quality finishing’s as a former builder I can say what the building has going for it is that they used Rain-screen technology. With this type of construction I do not foresee any future problems with moisture, efforts have clearly been made to ensure the building is properly vented.
